GEM is expanding into new construction \u2014 custom homes, barndominiums, additions, and ground-up builds. We are looking for one person to lead this division from the ground up.
\n
This is not a desk job and there is no office to report to. You work from home, set your own schedule, and run your own hours. What matters is results. Deals close, builds stay on schedule, clients get called back, and nothing slips.
\n
You sell it, you price it, you manage it, you deliver it. From the first handshake to the final walkthrough, you own the entire process. We have the in-house design team, the reputation, and the pipeline. We need the person who can turn it into a full-scale new construction operation.

LOCATION REQUIREMENT
\n
Must live in or around Monroe County and know the area well.
\n
Applicants outside this area will not be considered.
\n
PAY
\n
Base salary plus commission on closed projects. Two compensation structures available depending on how you work.
\n
Total compensation: $90,000 \u2013 $130,000+ depending on performance.
\n
Your income grows as you grow the division.
\n
Bonus commission on projects you source yourself.
\n
Performance bonuses for hitting quarterly targets.
\n
WHAT YOU WILL DO
\n
- \n
- Sell new construction projects through your network, referrals, and company leads
- Close deals and move fast
- Develop accurate project pricing and detailed proposals
- Manage every phase of the build from permits through punch list
- Hold subcontractors accountable and keep builds on schedule
- Run multiple projects at the same time without dropping a ball
- Coordinate with our in-house designer (27+ years experience) to deliver exactly what the client expects
- Keep builds on schedule and on budget
- Return all client calls, texts, and emails in a timely manner
- Build and grow relationships with realtors, developers, land owners, and industry contacts in the Greater Rochester area
- Scale the new construction division into a major part of the business

WHAT YOU BRING
\n

- End-to-end experience from sale to finished product in residential new construction
- Proven track record of closing deals, not just quoting them
- Ability to accurately price new construction projects
- Strong existing network in the Greater Rochester construction market
- Experience managing subcontractors and keeping builds on schedule
- Comfortable running multiple active projects at once
- Deep knowledge of the building process from foundation to finishes
- Self-motivated and accountable \u2014 you run your own schedule and own your results
- Valid driver\u2019s license and reliable transportation
