GEM is hiring an experienced Sales Manager who can sell. This is not a coordinator role. This is not a quoting role. You must be able to close.

We are not looking to train someone on remodeling basics or sales fundamentals. You must already understand residential remodeling, scope, sequencing, and how to sell high-ticket projects confidently.

Past foremen, superintendents, project managers, and former business owners are strongly encouraged to apply only if you can sell.

This is a commission-only role built for professionals who want autonomy, uncapped earnings, and control over their schedule while closing serious remodeling projects.

Location Requirement

  • Must live in Monroe County or Wayne County
  • Primary territory is Monroe County
  • Secondary coverage includes Wayne County
  • Route 104 corridor up toward Oswego
  • Anything past Sodus is rare

Applicants outside this area will not be considered.

What You Get

  • Commission-only compensation with no cap

  • Typical projects range from 30,000 to 150,000 plus

Commission Structure

Paid per project based on project size

Floor at 3 percent. Ceiling at 5 percent

Up to 30,000

30,001 to 60,000

4.5 percent

60,001 to 90,000

4 percent

90,001 to 130,000

3.5 percent

130,001 and up

3 percent

Commission is paid on collected revenue

Initial payout after deposit clears

Final payout after final payment is received

What You Will Do

  • Respond to new leads within 15 minutes. Evenings and weekends included
  • Run in-home consultations
  • First visit. Scan the space and collect all project data
  • Second visit. Present the estimate in person with visuals
  • Clearly explain scope, pricing, and process
  • Ask for the sale and close contracts
  • Protect scope and margin
  • Sell approved change orders
  • Coordinate with production team

We do not email numbers.

We do not text pricing.

All estimates are presented in person with visuals.

The owner completes the designs. You present and close.

What You Must Have

  • Proven remodeling experience
  • Proven ability to close sales. This is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of residential construction and scope
  • iPhone 15 or newer. Required for our scan software
  • Ability to follow up fast and consistently
  • Tech savvy and comfortable using digital tools
  • Estimating experience helpful
  • Reliable transportation until company vehicle is earned
